Brilliant Beginnings has earned its reputation first and fore most because we care about our children and families, and are very proud of the fact that all of our educators know all of our children. We pride ourselves on maintaining open communication with parents, and being an integral part of the safe, stimulating learning environment where our children are able to flourish.
We are guided by the early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Maria Montessori’s teachings as they both emphasise child-centred learning where children are encouraged to explore, discover, learn at their own pace, and follow their own interests. Every day, we remain committed to nurturing the unique potential within each child.
Our childcare centre operates from 7.00am to 6.00pm to accommodate busy working families, providing flexible and reliable childcare solutions for the Treendale, and Australind families.
Early Learning, Daycare and Childcare
As a trusted daycare service, Brilliant Beginnings understands the importance of this trust when it comes to your child's care and early learning, and our experienced team brings warmth and genuine care to every interaction to ensure it is meaningful for our children.
Brilliant Beginnings is a 59 place early learning centre with only four rooms. It is small by design meaning we can maintain small class sizes ensuring each child receives the individual attention they deserve while engaging in carefully developed curriculum activities that foster growth and development across all key areas. Because we all know all of our children, transitions into new rooms is a smooth process, and transitions occur when children become developmentally ready to do so. This ensures we maintain the joy and wonder of early childhood, helping them become confident, school-ready learners.

Every day, we remain committed to nurturing the unique potential within each child.
Our commitment to children's well-being also extends to our comprehensive food and nutrition program, with fresh, nutritious meals and snacks prepared daily in our on-site kitchen to support healthy bodies and minds. Mealtimes at Brilliant Beginnings is also a lovely time for socialisation and skill acquisition and to further develop self-help and practical life skills as our children learn serve themselves, wash their hands before eating, clean up afterwards and engage in social conversations around the table.
Kindergarten & Preschool
Our owner, with over thirty years of experience teaching and leading primary schools and childcare centres deeply understands the importance of the early childhood education experience. Providing children the skills and confidence they need to prepare them for school and for a life-long love of learning is our goal.

Our comprehensive kindergarten and preschool program emphasises essential skill development, carefully balancing social interactions and play-based educational activities to build strong foundations in pre-literacy and pre-numeracy. Our dedicated educators deliver activities and lessons that foster independence, social confidence, and the emotional resilience that children require as they get ready to embark on their school journey. We do this through intentional teaching lessons, spontaneous teaching moments, collaborative projects, group discussions, and guided play experiences that spark curiosity.
